About Us

I am a student at South Warren High School and while growing up, I have been fortunate enough to participate in youth programs, sports, and activities that some might never get to experience. The Bowling Green “Avenue of Flags" program will be utilized as a service to our community (Bowling Green, KY) and as a fundraiser to support youth programs, sports and organizations for our city and county. Participation is a “win/win”. The flags are inspiring as they honor our country and those who serve; residents and businesses who subscribe and participate in this colorful, patriotic program also know they are “giving back”to their community by supporting the fundraiser. The Flags are displayed for about 20 days during the year surrounding the following holidays:
Memorial Day weekend, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day weekend, and Veterans Day

Ways We Help

100 % of the proceeds from Bowling Green “Avenue of Flags” will be given back to the community to support youth programs, sports and organizations. In addition to the proceeds being given back to the community, participation in the, "Ave of Flags" is a patriotic program to honor all service men and women. Bowling Green “Ave of Flags” also brings a sense of patriotism to the neighborhoods that participate. In addition, if we know of a service man or woman returning home in your neighborhood and your neighborhood participates in the Bowling Green “Ave of Flags” program, we will set out the flags for the service member as a way to say “Thank You”.
